Yeoncheon-gun Facilities Management Corporation Selected as 'Excellent Workplace for Reading Management' for 2 Consecutive Years

Gyeonggi Yeoncheon-gun Facilities Management Corporation announced on the 12th that it has been selected as an ‘Excellent Workplace for Reading Management in Korea’ for the second consecutive year.

The Excellent Workplace for Reading Management certification system is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC), and supported by the Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency. It selects and certifies outstanding companies and institutions that spread reading culture within the workplace and practice reading-friendly management.

The corporation has expanded the reading culture in the workplace through various reading programs such as operating an in-house innovation library, running reading clubs, and holding an annual reading review contest. Based on these efforts, the corporation is expected to receive various benefits through this certification, including support for reading culture programs from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and customized reading management consulting.

Song Seung-won, Director of Yeoncheon-gun Facilities Management Corporation, stated, “Being selected as an Excellent Workplace for Reading Management for two consecutive years is thanks to the efforts of all the corporation’s employees.” He added, “We will continue to promote innovative reading management to strengthen organizational capabilities and do our best to contribute to the spread of reading culture in the local community.”
