The Guri City Council of Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Shin Dong-hwa) announced on the 12th that it will hold the 342nd Guri City Council 2nd regular session from the 20th to December 10th for 21 days.

The agenda for this regular session is as follows: △ Opening ceremony on November 20 △ Report on major business plans for 2025 from November 21 to 22 △ City administration questions on November 26 ▲ On-site inspection on November 27 △ Special Budget and Accounts Committee from November 28 to December 6 △ Responses to city administration questions on December 9 △ 7th plenary session on December 10.
Specifically, through seven plenary sessions, various agendas directly related to people's livelihoods will be reviewed and resolved. Through on-site inspections, major project sites within the jurisdiction will be visited directly to identify matters necessary for legislative activities. Major business reports and city administration questions and answers will be used to seek improvements in city administration and propose reasonable alternatives.
In addition, through the Special Budget and Accounts Committee, the general and special account budgets for 2025 will be reviewed carefully to ensure that citizens' tax money is not wasted and is allocated appropriately.
Chairman Shin Dong-hwa said, “This regular session is an important meeting to review and resolve Guri City's projects and budget for 2025 amid unprecedented tax revenue shortages and difficult circumstances.” He added, “I will do my best with fellow council members to prepare for this regular session and strive for the stability and happiness of the citizens' lives.”
