Suncheon City Offers Free Admission to Tourist Attractions for 'Suneung Examinees'

Special 'Healing Event' for Current and Former High School Students in the District

Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced on the 12th that it will offer free admission to major tourist attractions in the city for students who have completed the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). The benefit applies to test-takers who are currently attending or have graduated from high schools located in Suncheon, and the period is until the end of this year.

Visitors must present their test admission ticket, but group students accompanied by a homeroom teacher of the 12th grade can enter for free even without the admission ticket.

The free admission tourist sites include five representative attractions of Suncheon: Suncheonman National Garden, Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve, Suncheon Nagan Eupseong Folk Village, Rooted Tree Museum, and Drama Film Set. These sites feature diverse natural and cultural characteristics, providing students with an opportunity to escape their daily routine and gain new experiences.

A city official said, “We hope that students who have felt great academic pressure while preparing for college entrance exams can heal by experiencing beautiful nature and various cultures through this event.”
