Introduction of Trend-Based Search Function
KakaoBank announced on the 12th that it will revamp its fund service and expand the number of products. To celebrate the revamp, an event offering cashback benefits to customers who subscribe to funds will be held until the end of the year.
With this service revamp, the number of fund products will increase more than twofold, from the existing 9 to 23. In addition to products suitable for long-term investment, products tailored to investors' preferences such as Big Tech, overseas bonds, India, and Nasdaq have been added. KakaoBank explained that the products were selected by comprehensively evaluating fund performance, risk statistical indicators, and fund size. They plan to continuously expand the variety of funds available to up to 100 by next year.
A trend-based exploration feature has been introduced to enhance convenience, allowing customers to smoothly browse and select products. On the ‘Find Fund’ page, customers can select specific investment keywords to check the corresponding funds and their one-year average returns.

From a fund start guide for beginner investors to various investment trend information, all are provided together.
To commemorate this service revamp, an event offering cashback benefits to customers newly investing in funds will be held. Customers who subscribe to fund products and invest more than 10,000 KRW by December 31 will receive a 5,000 KRW cashback. The cashback benefit will be provided on the fund purchase completion date.
The fund service, first introduced by KakaoBank among internet banks in January this year, adopted a conversational interface to make understanding and subscribing to products easier. As a result of lowering entry barriers by intuitively changing fund terminology, it recorded a balance of about 60 billion KRW within 8 months of launch.
A KakaoBank official said, "We diversified the product lineup and improved service functions to expand investment accessibility and convenience," adding, "We expect that customers using the fund service will be able to explore and subscribe to fund products more conveniently, thereby boosting their confidence in investing."
