As the price of Bitcoin surpasses $88,000, Woori Technology Investment, a domestic coin-related stock, is also soaring.

According to the Korea Exchange, as of 9:15 a.m. on the 12th, Woori Technology Investment is trading at 11,880 KRW, up 14.23% (1,480 KRW) from the previous trading day. Woori Technology Investment holds shares in Dunamu, which operates Upbit, a domestic virtual asset exchange.

The reason Bitcoin is continuously hitting record highs is due to the Trump election effect. During his presidential campaign, Trump pledged to deregulate the virtual asset industry. Throughout the campaign, he expressed intentions to make the United States the capital of virtual assets, showing opposition to the current administration's stance on virtual assets. The industry expects that with the second Trump administration, the virtual asset industry will be fostered.
