Establishment and Operation of the Traffic Countermeasures Headquarters

Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will implement special traffic measures on the 14th to assist examinees' safe movement and establish a smooth traffic system in preparation for the ‘2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).’

This year’s ‘2025 CSAT’ will be held from 8:10 AM to 5:45 PM on the 14th, and a total of 1,738 examinees are expected to take the test at six test sites within Yongsan.

The district will provide transportation convenience for examinees centered around the test sites and support safe transport in case of emergencies. From 6 AM on the test day, a Traffic Countermeasures Headquarters will be established to oversee the special traffic measures, coordinating with situation rooms at the six test sites and 16 neighborhood offices to focus on response efforts.

Sixteen emergency transport vehicles will be stationed at major subway stations and intersections to urgently transport examinees who are at risk of being late or who have mistakenly gone to the wrong test site. Illegal parking and stopping around the test sites will be monitored and controlled.

Additionally, the Yongsan-gu Model Drivers Association will conduct activities such as picking up empty taxis and giving priority rides to examinees near major subway stations. The dispatch intervals of village buses will be shortened and adjusted to concentrate service during examinees’ commuting hours. Requests have also been made in advance to reduce noise from road excavation and construction to avoid disturbing the exam.

In particular, from 6 AM, vehicle entry and exit will be restricted within 200 meters of the test sites, and if congestion occurs around the test sites, situation personnel will manage traffic control and provide detour guidance.

District Mayor Park Hee-young stated, “We will do our best with the special traffic measures so that examinees can take the CSAT in the best possible condition,” and added, “Yongsan-gu will wholeheartedly support all examinees to achieve the best results.”
