"Lexus Korea Competes in Service Skills Contest to Showcase Service Capabilities"

Lexus Korea announced that on the 9th, it held the 2024 Lexus Skill Contest at the Toyota Training Academy in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. This technical competition program for dealer employees started in 2002 and alternates annually between the Lexus and Toyota brands.

54 participants competed across seven categories, including service advisors, parts, sales, and customer support. This year, a new 'Sales Consultant' category was introduced to evaluate customer service skills, financial product proposals for vehicle repurchase requests, and used car consultation abilities. Collaboration with service advisors and parts specialists was added as an evaluation factor. In the sheet metal and painting category, vehicle exterior management assessments were conducted targeting electric vehicle models.
