Model and influencer Kim Tae-i (real name Kim In-sik), who appeared on the dating program "Hwanseung Yeonae 2," has been reported to have been referred to the prosecution on charges of drunk driving.
According to a report by Chosun Biz on the 11th, Kim caused an accident around 5 a.m. on September 15 while driving under the influence in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, injuring one pedestrian. The pedestrian reportedly sustained minor bruises. After the accident, Kim admitted to the police that he was driving under the influence, and the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul referred Kim to the prosecution on the 7th on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.
Through his agency, Esteem Entertainment, Kim explained the circumstances of the accident, stating, "I had stopped the car to call a designated driver, but the parking manager repeatedly asked me to move the car." He added, "While moving the vehicle, an accident occurred involving a pedestrian." He also expressed deep remorse and apologized for causing the accident due to drunk driving.
Meanwhile, Kim is an influencer who has worked as a model and actor and gained attention by appearing on tvN's "Hwanseung Yeonae 2" in 2022. He is currently active as a barista and clothing brand designer.
