Korea Education Partners, which operates the AI-based customized career education service software-as-a-service (SaaS) ‘HakjjongPro,’ and Gamja Study Abroad, which runs the largest number of study abroad centers in Korea, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for an AI-based study abroad education business.

According to industry sources on the 11th, Korea Education Partners will jointly develop AI consulting technology to enhance accessibility to studying abroad based on Gamja Study Abroad’s study abroad content and counseling capabilities, and will hold joint seminars through 1,300 affiliated academies nationwide and 25 branches.
Based on this MOU, students will be able to establish academic roadmaps linked to their individual interests and career paths, and the plan is to increase accessibility to study abroad and global education so that options can be expanded up to overseas universities.
Gamja Study Abroad is the study abroad specialized brand of Maekyung IC, an education specialist group with 30 years of history. Veteran consultants with an average of over 18 years of experience in the study abroad industry and local representatives from each country visit Korea to operate various study abroad programs in 12 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Malta, and the Philippines.
Kwon Jae-woo, co-CEO of Korea Education Partners, said, “While conducting nationwide entrance exam seminars for parents and teachers of high school seniors, we felt regret that we could not provide a significant solution. The proportion of students whose average grade rises by two or more levels from the first semester of the first year to the first semester of the third year is only about 2.9%, which reduces options.”
He added, “Korea Education Partners has already achieved meaningful results in the domestic entrance exam market through AI-based consulting technology, and through collaboration with Gamja Study Abroad, which operates the largest number of study abroad centers in Korea, we aim to take the first step into the global study abroad entrance exam market, where customer needs and market potential are sufficient.”
Gong Dong-hoon, director of Maekyung IC Gamja Study Abroad, stated, “Students with grades ranging from 3 to 9 can also choose prestigious overseas universities and promising majors, and broadening the range of university and major choices to include overseas universities is the best preparation for their children’s future.”
