Kakao Mobility and Samyang Logistics Sign Business Agreement to Support Logistics Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises

Kakao Mobility announced on the 11th that it is partnering with logistics specialist Samyang Logistics to establish an e-commerce optimized fulfillment (comprehensive logistics outsourcing) system as part of a win-win initiative with small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses.

Based on the infrastructure of Kakao T Same-Day Delivery and Samyang Logistics' logistics operation capabilities, the two companies agreed to create a logistics ecosystem environment where small and medium-sized merchants can secure competitiveness in the rapidly changing e-commerce landscape.

Fulfillment is an integrated logistics system that manages all processes related to product delivery, including product receipt, packaging, shipping, inventory management, and dispatch. Among these, the importance of the 'last mile' stage, where the product is finally delivered to the customer, is increasing. Kakao T Same-Day Delivery provides services based on its own ICT technology, including logistics management, control monitoring, and optimized route design, as a B2B (business-to-business) same-day and dawn delivery service. It supports small and medium e-commerce businesses in acquiring last-mile competitiveness without separate infrastructure investment.

Through this agreement, Kakao Mobility will link Samyang Logistics' transportation resources and micro-fulfillment centers with its own infrastructure to enhance last-mile services, including expanding the delivery coverage of Kakao T Same-Day Delivery from Seoul and parts of Gyeonggi Province to the entire metropolitan area within this year.

Additionally, Samyang Logistics will be able to provide same-day and dawn delivery services to clients requiring fast delivery, based on Kakao Mobility's stable supply chain.
