94th Anniversary Celebration
Long-term Service Awards and Town Hall Meeting
"Must Consider Future Survival... Courageous Innovation Needed"

Shin Young-su, CEO of CJ Logistics, urged employees to pursue innovation desperately while awarding various prizes to staff on the occasion of the company's 94th anniversary. Although the company has been in the logistics business for 94 years, he emphasized that it is still a critical time to contemplate future survival amid rapidly changing business environments.

On the 11th, CJ Logistics announced that it held its 94th anniversary event at its headquarters in Jongno, Seoul, on the 8th. At the event, CEO Shin also held a town hall meeting with about 200 employees to encourage and address them.

He stated, "CJ Logistics has been a company leading the modernization of logistics in South Korea for the past 94 years," but added, "The business environment surrounding us is rapidly changing, and the speed and fundamental nature of these changes make this a critical time to consider future survival." He continued, "Let us become the best company in South Korea through the 'Hadogabi' spirit and brave innovation that does not fear failure."

At the event, awards were presented to 350 long-term employees, including one with 40 years of service. Through the CJ Logistics Awards, individuals and organizations that achieved outstanding results in six categories were also recognized.

Branch Manager Kim Seok-jun, who joined in 1984, received special leave and a vacation allowance of 10 million KRW in recognition of his contributions over approximately 40 years of service. The CJ Logistics Awards honored teams such as FT Operations Team 2, which led productivity innovation projects and improved profitability, and Sales Team 1, which secured major clients. Among overseas subsidiaries, CJ ICM in the Middle East, which diversified its business areas, also received an award.

Meanwhile, immediately after the anniversary ceremony, CEO Shin and about 400 employees participated in a 'plogging' event, walking and picking up trash.
