The newly opened ‘bhc Taipei Dome store’ is located in the ‘Taipei Dome,’ Taiwan’s national baseball stadium where the Taiwan Baseball Championship Series and major national team games are held. The ‘Taipei Dome,’ which can accommodate up to 40,000 people, is Taiwan’s first dome stadium and a large-scale complex entertainment facility combined with a large shopping mall, cinema, hotel, and more.

It is adjacent to Taiwan’s representative tourist attractions, the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, making it a popular spot for both local residents and overseas tourists. In particular, it is a key location emerging as a new hot place in Taipei, with numerous gourmet restaurants known as Gourmet Park.

The first store in Taiwan has 30 seats and offers both takeout and dine-in options. The store features a modern and clean atmosphere by harmoniously using the yellow tone symbolizing bhc chicken as the base color, along with white and wood tones. Friendly design stickers suited to the dome stadium’s characteristics are attached to the full glass front of the store to enhance accessibility, and the space is bright and warm so that the main customer groups, couples and families, can comfortably enjoy their meals.

In addition to the main chicken menu items such as ‘Bburinkle,’ ‘Matchoking,’ and ‘Goldking,’ bhc strategically offers Korean food menus popular locally, such as tteokbokki, rabokki, and sundubu, tailored to Taiwanese customers’ tastes. Considering the local dining culture that prefers chicken by pieces, bhc is strengthening various combo menus such as ▲wings and drumsticks ▲boneless ▲party boxes, and plans to offer easy takeout menus targeting customers attending events like baseball games or concerts.

Especially to commemorate the opening, an opening ceremony was held on the 8th with key stakeholders invited, and famous cheerleader Lee Ah-young, active in Taiwan, was invited as the one-day store manager, attracting great attention from local baseball fans.

Song Ho-seop, CEO of Dining Brands Group, said, “Taiwan is the second largest Chinese-speaking market after Hong Kong, with high growth potential in the dining-out industry, making it a very important region for expanding the Asian market. We will focus on early stabilization by providing differentiated value to Taiwanese consumers based on thorough local market analysis, customized strategies, and optimal locations.”

With the opening of the first store in Taiwan, bhc’s overseas stores have expanded to 26 stores in 7 countries. Including the first store opened in Toronto, Canada, bhc is accelerating its overseas business by opening 17 additional overseas stores this year alone.
