On the 11th, Paju City in Gyeonggi announced that it is recruiting participants for the cooking technique training of award-winning dishes from the "15th Paju Jangdan Sambaek Cuisine National Competition" to promote and popularize Jangdan Sambaek cuisine.

This training will be held free of charge on the 27th at the Paju Jangdan Bean Wellbeing Maru Cooking Training Center, targeting 20 representatives and workers of food hygiene establishments in the area.

The training content includes cooking method education and demonstrations for two award-winning dishes from the "15th Paju Jangdan Sambaek Cuisine National Competition" held at the Ginseng Festival last October: "Gaeseong Ginseng Yeonkecho" and "Jangdan Bean Gaeseong Ginseng Taco," as well as hands-on cooking practice for participants.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the 20th, and anyone working at establishments or institutions that prepare and serve food, such as local restaurants, snack bars, and cafeterias, can apply.

Jang Yeon-hee, Director of the Hygiene Division, said, "We expect this training to contribute to the popularization of Paju Jangdan Sambaek (Jangdan Beans, Gaeseong Ginseng, Hansuwi Rice) and to promote consumption, thereby helping to revitalize the local economy."
