Purchased Real Estate Worth Over 20 Billion Won... Passed Tax Audit Without Issues

Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk stated regarding the inheritance of his children's assets, "I will only support matters related to education until they become adults."

On the 9th, Yoo Jae-suk said this on his YouTube channel ‘TteunTteun’. The episode featured Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin, the lead actors of the Netflix original series ‘Trunk’.

In response to the question, "When you get older and accumulate wealth after your children have grown up, how will you pass it on to them?" he answered, "I will support as much as I can as a parent, such as education. After that, I tell my children, ‘You live your own life.’"

When actress Seo Hyun-jin asked, "Is there a specific age until which you will provide support?" Yoo Jae-suk replied, "Until they become adults," adding, "That includes college tuition and, if they study abroad, the costs of studying abroad."

Regarding the question of how he would handle inheritance after his passing, he added, "I think I will have to consider the social situation and my own situation at that time. Who knows what will happen in the distant future?"

Previously, Yoo Jae-suk had lived in a Hyundai apartment in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on a long-term lease for over 15 years, but last year he purchased a penthouse in Nonhyeon-dong. After buying the real estate worth around 20 billion won entirely in cash, tax authorities launched a tax investigation. The Gangnam Tax Office investigation department announced in September, "The investigation found no evidence of tax evasion or tax omission."
