Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Jo Ik-moon) announced on the 10th that it received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award for contributions to sustainable development at the '2024 Korea Green Management Awards' held recently at the Maeil Business Newspaper Media Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

At this award ceremony, the corporation was recognized for its leadership in practicing carbon neutrality through various environmentally friendly management efforts, including ▲establishing the first ESG management system among urban railway operators ▲exceeding the annual greenhouse gas target management system ▲operating an integrated air quality management platform to create a pleasant station environment.
