Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, spent a meaningful time on the morning of the 8th attending the ‘Hyo-do Bapsang Kimchi Making Event’ with residents in the yard in front of the Hyo-do Bapsang side dish factory located in Mangwon-dong.
On this day, the kimchi-making ingredients were provided through a donation by a resident, Mr. Inmo, who shares the spirit of Hyo-do Bapsang. The kimchi, carefully made with such fresh and healthy ingredients, will be served daily as side dishes to the elderly using Hyo-do Bapsang.
About 35 people, including the Hyo-do Bapsang promotion team, participated in the event, preparing kimchi together and practicing the warm spirit of sharing.
A volunteer who attended the event expressed, "I hope the carefully prepared kimchi will help create a healthy winter table for the elderly."
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, “We prepared this kimchi hoping it will be a small help for the elderly to get through the winter,” adding, “I hope the elderly at Hyo-do Bapsang enjoy the kimchi throughout the winter and always stay healthy.”
