Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) held the Social Welfare Fund Deliberation Committee (Chairman Han Ok-seok) meeting on the 8th in the city hall situation room to deliberate and approve the appointment of new members and the plan for fund management in 2025.

The Social Welfare Fund is established for the purpose of supporting projects selected through public contests aimed at enhancing the welfare of the elderly and disabled residents of Dongducheon City and promoting gender equality development.

This deliberation committee reviewed the income and expenditure for the operation of the 2025 Social Welfare Fund projects and gathered opinions to manage the fund projects in a direction that promotes welfare in Dongducheon City.

Newly appointed member Lim Hyun-sook stated, “I will strive to promote welfare enhancement projects for various groups such as children, adolescents, the elderly, and the disabled in managing the fund projects.”

Chairman Han Ok-seok said, “Through the deliberation committee, we will take the lead in discovering various welfare projects and efficiently managing the fund to enhance the welfare of Dongducheon citizens.”
