National Health Insurance Service Conducts Repair Volunteer Work at Grace House, Partner Facility of 'Haneul Bandage Kids'

‘Safe Environment, Healthy Kids’ Project Implementation

The National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) (President Jeong Gi-seok) visited the affiliated facility "Eunhyeui Jip" on the 8th as part of the "Haneul Bandage Kids" project to volunteer in improving the aging facilities.

"Haneul Bandage Kids" is NHIS's flagship social contribution project established in May this year. It supports children under the age of one until they become adults through continuous sponsorship and promotes their healthy growth through regular interactions.

On this day, a total of 34 participants, including the NHIS home repair volunteer team and internal staff, engaged in activities to create a pleasant environment by redecorating old wallpaper and replacing flooring. In addition, they supported the costs of collecting waste left in the yard of Eunhyeui Jip and replacing old furniture, contributing to creating a safe and clean environment.

At the site, President Jeong Gi-seok, Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Headquarters Director Choi Deok-geun, and Haeundae Branch Manager attended to encourage the participating employees and joined the volunteer activities.

Director Choi Deok-geun said, "I am proud that, thanks to the dedication and efforts of our employees, the children can grow up in a cleaner and safer environment," adding, "Going forward, NHIS will continue to accompany children taking their first lonely steps and actively fulfill its role as a sponsor to help them grow healthily as future leaders."
