President Yoon's Emergency Economic and Security Meeting on the 10th: "Assessing the Impact of the Trump Administration's Inauguration"

"Preparation of Proactive Response Measures"

President Yoon Suk-yeol will hold an emergency economic and security meeting on the 10th at the Yongsan Presidential Office to assess the impact of economic and security policy changes following the inauguration of the Trump administration.


The Presidential Office stated on the 8th, "We plan to hold the meeting to closely monitor the policy changes of the newly inaugurated Trump administration and to prepare proactive and preemptive response measures."


Government officials attending the meeting include Deputy Prime Minister for Economy Choi Sang-mok, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol, Minister of Unification Kim Young-ho, Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Deok-geun.


From the Presidential Office, Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok, Director of National Security Shin Won-sik, Director of Policy Office Sung Tae-yoon, Foreign and Security Special Advisor Jang Ho-jin, Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs Park Chun-seop, First Deputy Director of National Security Kim Tae-hyo, Second Deputy Director of National Security In Sung-hwan, Third Deputy Director of National Security Wang Yoon-jong, and Senior Secretary for Public Relations Lee Do-woon are expected to attend.
