Yeoncheon-gun Extends Application Deadline for Athlete Opportunity Income to the 6th of Next Month

Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that the application period for the Opportunity Income for Athletes program has been extended until December 6.

The Opportunity Income for Athletes program provides an annual cash support of 1.5 million KRW to athletes with a median income of 120% or less, aiming to reduce the financial burden on local athletes and help them continue active sports activities.

The support targets athletes residing in Yeoncheon-gun who continue their sports activities and have a median income of 120% or less. Selected athletes can receive an annual support fund of 1.5 million KRW. Athletes wishing to apply can check the detailed application methods and required documents through the Gyeonggi Minwon24 website or by visiting the Sports Promotion Team of the Culture and Sports Division at Yeoncheon-gun Office.

A Yeoncheon-gun official stated, “We hope that more athletes will benefit through this extension of the application period,” and added, “We will continue to explore various support measures for local athletes.”
