Eastsoft announced on the 8th that it has joined the 'Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity' (C2PA), which established the global artificial intelligence (AI) watermark technology standard.
C2PA is a global coalition established to build trust in online content, with over 90 companies including Google, Microsoft (MS), and Intel participating as members.
In Korea, Naver was the first to join in July, and Eastsoft became the second Korean company to join. Eastsoft explained that since C2PA provides the technical foundation necessary to enhance content transparency, it plans to focus on establishing and spreading global technical standards for the ethical use of its service 'AI Human.'
Sangwon Jeong, CEO of Eastsoft, said, "The realm of AI ethics in the global market is an essential condition for service expansion," adding, "We will make greater efforts so that various generative AI services centered on AI Human can settle and be utilized in our society."
