Communication Meeting with Employees and Executives Held
Choi Woo-hyung, CEO of K Bank, held a communication session with employees to discuss the achievements and performance accomplished this year, as well as management issues and trends for the coming year.
On the afternoon of the 7th, K Bank held a 'Communication Meeting' at its Euljiro headquarters, attended by CEO Choi Woo-hyung and about 600 employees. This event is a regular in-house communication event initiated after CEO Choi Woo-hyung took office in January this year. It was created as a platform for employees to communicate about K Bank’s management issues, and to reflect this purpose, the name ‘Communication Meeting’ was directly selected by the employees.
On this day, CEO Choi directly presented to the employees K Bank’s achievements this year, expected performance, and management issues including the internal and external market environment. He said, “This year, key indicators such as loans, deposits, number of customers, and net profit all reached record highs since the bank’s establishment, achieving remarkable results thanks to the dedicated efforts of all employees.”

During the Q&A session among employees, questions were raised about future growth strategies, market analysis, and core customers. In response, CEO Choi said, “Next year, we will focus on developing various retail products, expanding the SME market, and strengthening our tech capabilities to target a diverse customer base.”
He added, “The in-depth questions from employees make me reflect and think more deeply,” and “We will continue to foster K Bank’s unique culture of challenging new tasks and never doing any work the same way twice, always asking ourselves once more.”
There was also a learning session to prepare for 2025. Dr. Lee Hye-won, co-author of the ‘Trend Korea’ series, which predicts and analyzes the latest trends in Korea every year, was invited to give a lecture.
K Bank’s Communication Meetings were held a total of nine times this year. In December, the bank plans to hold an event to summarize the year and reward outstanding teams.
