[Featured Stock] The Born Korea Shows Weakness Three Days After KOSPI Listing

Theborn Korea, which recorded an opening price far exceeding the public offering price on its first day listed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI), turned bearish after three days.

As of 10:24 AM on that day, Theborn Korea was trading at 48,150 KRW on the KOSPI, down 3,550 KRW (6.87%) from the previous close.

After starting with a 51.18% increase from the public offering price (34,000 KRW) on the first day of listing and maintaining a strong trend for two days, it turned downward on the third day, giving back a significant portion of its gains.

The CEO of Theborn Korea is Baek Jong-won, a broadcaster and culinary researcher. After listing, Theborn Korea plans to enhance its dining-out business and expand its B2B distribution channels into corporate and military catering to establish a stable cash cow.
