"Cheering All Ulsan Test Takers"... Ulsan Office of Education Releases College Entrance Exam Support Video

Cheon Chang-su Superintendent and Parents Convey Words of Encouragement

Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) produced a video to support students preparing for the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scheduled for the 14th, and recently released it on the Ulsan Office of Education's YouTube channel.

The 7-minute and 7-second video features Superintendent Cheon Chang-su and parents Kim Jin-seong, Kim Bo-mi, and Kim Da-ra, who have children in their third year of high school preparing for the exam.

They experienced the difficulties faced by students by solving past CSAT questions themselves and offered words of encouragement.

When asked, “How was it to solve the problems?” the participants shared their impressions: “Reading was difficult and the questions were very hard,” “Being pressed for time made it hard to focus and I felt flustered and scared,” and “I understood the feelings of the test-takers.”

In response to the question, “What would you like to say to your children and students taking this CSAT?” the participants expressed pride and gratitude toward their children, saying, “Thank you so much for working hard from elementary school until now.” They cheered on the students, saying, “Please finish strong and keep up your efforts until the very end,” and also expressed appreciation to those around them, saying, “We are grateful to the parents and teachers who have devoted themselves to the children for the past three years.”

Superintendent Cheon Chang-su said, “There must have been many difficult moments, but I believe that your dreams, which you have pursued without giving up, will surely come true. Please continue to believe in yourself, take good care of your health, and calmly finish strong.”

He added, “I would like to thank the parents who have stood by the students and the teachers who have worked passionately and devotedly. We support all the test-takers in Ulsan.”
