Visit to a Large Church in Seoul at the End of August
"My Family and I Will Uphold the Christian Spirit"

Donald Trump Jr. (46), the eldest son of President-elect Donald Trump and the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, has recently drawn renewed attention for his visit to a large church in South Korea this past August. During his visit, he also spoke about an assassination attempt on President-elect Trump.

On August 25, Trump Jr. attended a service at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where he reportedly shared his testimony with the congregation. According to a YouTube video capturing the event, Trump Jr. was in South Korea to attend the Korea-U.S. Next Generation Joint Conference "Build Up Korea 2024," held at COEX in Gangnam-gu.

At the church podium, Trump Jr. also mentioned the "attack incident" that occurred on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. During the rally, a gunman fired shots aimed at President-elect Trump, but the bullets narrowly missed him.

Regarding the incident, Trump Jr. stated, "When my father was the target of an assassination attempt, I believe God's hand touched him," adding, "It is by God's grace that my father is still alive."

He continued, "My father was able to turn his head at that moment, unlike usual, and escape the assassination attempt," emphasizing, "This is something that cannot be explained in words, and not only did our family's faith grow at that moment, but the faith of countless others who witnessed it also grew." He added, "My family and I will continue to fight to uphold Christian values, and to ensure that Christian values are maintained worldwide."

Trump Jr. also displayed a photo on screen showing President-elect Trump standing up with blood on his body immediately after the shooting, raising his fist and shouting "Fight." This photo became widely circulated on social media platforms worldwide at the time of the attack.

Meanwhile, Trump Jr. is considered one of the close aides in President-elect Trump's campaign. He has been involved in his father's re-election campaign efforts since the early stages of the presidential race and is also credited with playing a key role in selecting Senator J. D. Vance, Trump’s running mate, as the vice-presidential candidate. The British financial media outlet Financial Times (FT) described Trump Jr. as "the Republican Party's next-generation kingmaker."
