SPC Group Donates Briquettes to Vulnerable Groups and Employees Volunteer for Delivery Service

Vice President Hee-Soo Heo and Others Participate in Volunteer Activities
Donate a Total of 30,000 Briquettes to 150 Households through Briquette Bank

SPC Group announced on the 8th that it donated briquettes to energy-vulnerable groups ahead of winter and that its executives and employees personally delivered them as part of a volunteer activity.


SPC Group's social welfare foundation, SPC Happy Foundation, visited a vinyl greenhouse complex in Jeonwon Village, Seocho-gu, Seoul (near Namtaeryeong) the day before Ipdong, delivering 2,000 briquettes and Samlip steamed buns to about 70 households. SPC Vice President Hee-Soo Heo, Sektanin CEO Dae-Il Kim, and other executives and employees participated.

SPC Group also donated 30,000 briquettes to 150 households using briquette heating through the social welfare corporation Bapsang Community Briquette Bank. The donated briquettes will be delivered to energy-vulnerable groups nationwide through 31 briquette banks until March next year.


An SPC Group official said, "A severe cold wave is expected this winter, and we hope to be of some help to our neighbors," adding, "We will strive to bring warmth to the local community through various social contribution activities."


Meanwhile, SPC Group has been conducting winter briquette sharing activities for five years since 2020. So far, it has donated a total of 100,000 briquettes.
