On the 8th, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City announced that it has established the 'Haetteumi Smart Farm Project Group' in collaboration with the Ulsan Ulju Regional Self-Support Center (Director Kim Sang-woon) to support self-reliance and promote local agricultural development.
The smart farm project is an agricultural innovation model that applies information and communication technology (ICT) to agriculture, automatically managing climate and cultivation environments. It produces high-quality agricultural products stably and offers higher productivity and efficiency compared to traditional farming.
In particular, by utilizing smart farm technology, even self-support participants with limited agricultural experience can engage in high-efficiency farming activities through a systematized cultivation process.
Ulju-gun plans to continuously support self-support participants to grow into agricultural professionals by operating the Haetteumi Smart Farm Project Group.
Director Kim Sang-woon stated, “Through the Haetteumi Smart Farm Project Group, we plan to support self-support participants in learning smart agricultural technologies and acquiring expertise to establish a foundation for long-term independence and growth. We will introduce smart agricultural systems and eco-friendly farming methods to provide healthy food to the local community.”
