Samsung Asset Management Hosts Three KODEX Pension Power Events

Samsung Asset Management announced on the 8th that it will hold the ‘KODEX ETF Pension Power’ 3-event campaign until the 30th of this month.

This event was prepared to deliver the message of enhancing pension power through investment in KODEX Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), linked to the joint retirement pension advertisement ‘Samsung Financial Pension Power’ by the four Samsung financial companies launched last month.

The first event is ETF holding certification. The eligible ETFs are all KODEX products. Anyone who certifies holding 10 or more shares of KODEX ETFs in retirement pension (IRP/DC) and pension savings accounts can participate. Through a draw, prizes include a Bespoke Air Dresser (1 person), Bespoke AI Steam Robot Vacuum Cleaner (2 people), and Bespoke Dishwasher Countertop for 6 people (5 people).

The second event is a fill-in-the-blank quiz to guess the secret of increasing pension power. Among the correct answers, 300 people will be selected by lottery to receive a Starbucks e-card worth 10,000 KRW.

The last event requires sharing the KODEX ETF Pension Power event on one’s own SNS and certifying the post link. Later, 200 people will be selected by lottery to receive a BBQ chicken set.

Additionally, a new pension-dedicated menu called ‘Pension Investment with ETFs’ has been created on the KODEX website. Utilizing various contents such as ETF search available for pension investment, a pension power test that calculates an individual’s pension power score, and a pension investment guidebook, Samsung Asset Management plans to continuously address investors’ questions related to pensions and enhance the image related to retirement pensions.

Moreover, an advertising campaign delivering the message ‘The Difference in Pension Power Created by KODEX ETF Investment’ will be conducted through YouTube, radio, banner ads, and more until the end of the year.

A Samsung Asset Management official said, “Although office workers show great interest in retirement pensions to prepare assets they can use after retirement, many still worry because they do not know the proper way to manage pension accounts or which products to include,” adding, “We hope this event will serve as an opportunity for people to take their first step into retirement pensions.”
