On November 28, the entire Breaking professional team from Dobong-gu Office will be fully mobilized.

On this day, the Breaking professional team plans to teach local youth everything about breaking. Kim Hong-yeol (Hongten), who shone at the Paris Olympics, will also personally teach his signature move, the freeze.

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that on the 28th at 4 PM, it will hold a ‘Breaking One-Day Class’ for local youth at Seoninbong Hall on the 2nd floor of Dobong-gu Office.

This event, hosted by the Dobong-gu Office Breaking professional team, is designed to teach everything from basic theory such as the history of breaking to representative moves like footwork and power moves.

Registration is open for up to 200 participants on a first-come, first-served basis until November 22. Applications can be made by phone or email to the Dobong-gu Culture and Sports Department.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “Athletes who dominate the Korean b-boying scene have prepared a special time for the youth, the future leaders of Dobong-gu. An unforgettable time with Olympian (Hongten) awaits you, so we ask for your great interest.”

Previously, the district established the first-ever Breaking professional team nationwide last year. The Dobong-gu Office Breaking professional team is led by director Lee Woo-sung, chairman of the Special Breaking Committee of the Korea DanceSport Federation, and includes the ‘living legend’ of Korean breaking Kim Hong-yeol (Hongten), Hangzhou Asian Games national representative b-girl Kwon Sung-hee (Starry), ace Oh Cheol-je (FE), skilled b-boy duo Park Won-bin (Jazzbear) and Choi Jung-woo (Milli), as well as the top kid division champion Eom Hye-sung (B1).
