Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, conducted boiler inspections in the jjokbang area on the afternoon of the 7th to prepare for the upcoming winter and distributed winter supplies to residents.
On this day, Mayor Choi, along with officials from the Korea Thermal Management Construction Association, Korea Energy Technicians Association, and Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation, toured the jjokbang area to carry out boiler inspections and repairs in preparation for the cold wave.
Additionally, Mayor Choi handed over 400 pairs of socks donated by the corporation to the head of the jjokbang counseling center to help residents stay warm during the winter.
Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo District said, “I hope this inspection helps jjokbang residents stay warm this winter,” and added, “We will continue proactive on-site inspections to prevent damage from the upcoming cold wave and do our best to protect the safety of our citizens.”
