Over 2,500 Students, Residents, and High Schoolers at Seunghak and Bumin Campuses
"Spreading the Importance of Career Education, Helping Understand the Career and Job World"
Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) announced on the 7th that it successfully held the 'Career and Job Fair with University and Local Community.'
The fair, held on the Seunghak Campus and Bumin Campus on the 29th and 31st of last month respectively, was hosted by Dong-A University and Busan Saha-gu, and supported by the Career Education Support Centers of Busan Saha-gu, Jung-gu, Yeongdo-gu, Sasang-gu, Nam-gu, and Busanjin-gu. Approximately 2,500 participants including current students, local residents, and high school students attended.
The fair featured a variety of well-organized programs such as the ▲Future Occupation Special Lecture Zone ▲Career Counseling Zone (current professional mentoring, career aptitude tests, and career counseling) ▲Major Exploration Zone (major mentoring and career experience, club experience) ▲Career Experience Zone (career board games, career tarot, etc.) ▲Future Occupation Experience Zone (VR, drone experience, etc.), which received enthusiastic responses from many participants.
Ahn Soo-hye (1st year, Department of Business Administration), a student who participated in the event, said, “This fair was a great help in exploring my career path. It was enjoyable to experience careers in various ways. I hope such events will be held frequently in the future.”
Jo Gyu-pan, director of the Dong-A University Career Development Center, which organized the event, stated, “This fair served as an opportunity to spread the importance of career education through cooperation between the university and the local community and to enhance students' understanding of various career and job worlds. We plan to hold various events for students in the future, so we hope for your continued interest.”
