Collaboration between Dong-Eui University, Busan City, Busanjin-gu, and Busan Technopark
Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) will hold an opening ceremony for the "Busan City Urban-type Youth Startup and Residential Complex Space - Busan Startup Dream Busanjin Youth" at 4:30 PM on the 11th at Dong-Eui University's 1st Hyomin Dormitory.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Dong-Eui University President Han Su-hwan, Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon, National Assembly member Lee Heon-seung (Busanjin-gu Eul), Busanjin-gu District Mayor Kim Young-wook, Busanjin-gu Council Chairman Park Hyun-chul, Busan Technopark Director Kim Hyung-gyun, and startup entrepreneurs.
The ceremony will proceed in the order of a signboard unveiling ceremony, opening remarks and congratulatory speeches (by the district mayor, National Assembly member, and council chairman), operation plan report, opening commemorative performance, and a tour of the startup and residential spaces.
The "Busan City Urban-type Youth Startup and Residential Complex Space - Busan Startup Dream Busanjin Youth," opening on this day, is a space prepared through collaboration between Busan City, Busanjin-gu, and Dong-Eui University to foster Busan's startup ecosystem and support a stable growth foundation for youth in the region.
Located on three floors of Dong-Eui University's dormitory, the 1st Hyomin Dormitory, Busan Startup Dream Busanjin Youth consists of 16 startup office rooms, 9 residential rooms, as well as shared spaces such as seminar rooms and lounges.
Dong-Eui University plans to provide startup incubation programs and professional consulting to companies moving into Busan Startup Dream Busanjin Youth to help them grow into unicorn companies, as well as support costs for prototype production and intellectual property acquisition.
