Meeting with Kim Jeong-ho, Representative of the People Power Party
Lee Gwon-jae, mayor of Osan City in Gyeonggi Province, has requested support from the Gyeonggi Provincial Council for the promotion of the 'Unamtteul AI City Urban Development Project.'
On the afternoon of the 6th, Mayor Lee held a meeting with Kim Jeong-ho, the representative member of the People Power Party in the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, and announced this.

The Unamtteul AI City Urban Development Project is a public-private joint urban development project underway on a 584,123㎡ site around Osandong 166. On the public side, Osan City, Korea Rural Community Corporation, Pyeongtaek Urban Corporation, and Suwon Urban Corporation are participating. Earlier this year, the project received conditional approval in the public interest review by the Central Land Expropriation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Osan City and others are promoting the project with the goal of designating the district and announcing development plan approval through the Gyeonggi Provincial Urban Planning Committee review within the year.
At the meeting, Mayor Lee said, "Although Unamtteul AI City is a long-awaited local project, it has been delayed for a long time," and requested, "I hope the provincial council will pay attention so that the remaining procedures can proceed quickly."
On the same day, Mayor Lee also requested support for ▲ the release of the Seorang Reservoir from the agricultural promotion district ▲ securing a budget for installing landscape lighting at Mulhyanggi Arboretum. Currently, the city has requested a special adjustment grant of 3.15 billion KRW from Gyeonggi Province for the installation of landscape lighting at Mulhyanggi Arboretum. In the case of Seorang Reservoir, the city is promoting the creation of a citizen rest area, but it is designated as an agricultural promotion area for securing agricultural water, which restricts the installation of sculptures and various convenience facilities.
