Pyeongtaek City to Recruit Participants for Public Work Project from 11th to 20th

Providing Jobs for Vulnerable Groups

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it will recruit participants for the first phase of the 'Public Work Project' from the 11th to the 20th of next year.

The Public Work Project is a program aimed at providing jobs to vulnerable groups to support livelihood stability and revitalize the local economy. The project period for this round is from January 6 to April 20 of next year.

The planned number of recruits for this project is 136. The recruitment fields include three areas: ▲Environmental Cleanup ▲Service Support ▲Database (DB) Construction Support. Those wishing to participate can apply by visiting the administrative welfare centers in their respective towns, townships, or neighborhoods.

Eligibility requires applicants to be Pyeongtaek citizens aged 18 or older as of the project start date. Applicants must have a household income at or below 70% of the median income and assets of 400 million KRW or less, and be either unemployed or daily workers without regular income, homeless individuals certified by administrative agencies or credible institutions, or unemployed persons aged 18 to 34 excluding students.
