Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Lifts Land Transaction Permission Zone as of the 10th Following Housing Supply Expansion Plan
Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 7th that the land transaction permission zones in Gamildong, Gambukdong, Choidong, and Gamidong will be lifted as of November 10, 2024, in accordance with the 'Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Announcement No. 2024-1506.'
The areas where the land transaction permission zones are lifted in this announcement include the entire Gambukdong area, which was designated as a land transaction permission zone from August 13 to December 31 following the 'Plan to Expand Housing Supply for National Housing Stability' announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on August 8, as well as the remaining areas of Gamildong and Gamidong excluding the Hanam Gamil Public Housing District, and residential areas outside the existing land transaction permission zones in Choidong.
With the lifting of the land transaction permission zones as of the 10th, contracts transferring ownership or superficies rights related to land made from that date can acquire land without land transaction contract permission. Detailed information on the lifted parcels can be found on the Hanam City website under notices and announcements or at the Land Information Division.
A Hanam City official stated, “We expect that the lifting of the land transaction permission zones in the relevant areas will alleviate inconveniences in exercising property rights for citizens.”
