AhnLab announced on the 7th that its smartphone security solution, 'V3 Mobile Security,' achieved a perfect score in all categories in the September evaluation of this year’s global security product performance test, 'AV-TEST,' earning its 68th certification.
V3 Mobile Security participated in the Android antivirus category of AV-TEST and received perfect scores in all three evaluation categories: ▲Detection Rate ▲Performance (impact on smartphone performance when the product is running) ▲Usability (false positives on malicious applications), with 6 points per category, totaling 18 points.
In particular, in the detection rate evaluation, the real-time test, which verifies detection of the latest malware first identified within 24 hours, recorded a detection rate of 99.9%. Additionally, in the Prevalent test, which measures detection capability against malware distributed for up to four weeks, it achieved a 100% detection rate.
Since 2013, V3 Mobile Security has participated in the Android antivirus category evaluation of AV-TEST a total of 68 times and has earned certification in every session it participated in. It currently holds the most AV-TEST certifications among domestic smartphone security products.
