Silla University University Job Plus Center Successfully Concludes This Year's 'Silla University Job Fair'

Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) University Job Plus Center successfully concluded the '2024 Shilla University Job Fair.'


On October 31, the outdoor booths?over 40 in number?set up at the Shilla University Comprehensive Lecture Hall and the indoor event venue were bustling with many students.


On this day, Shilla University provided accurate information about companies not only to current students preparing for employment before graduation but also to support local youth employment. Through various programs such as one-on-one interviews with company representatives, the event created opportunities for many talented individuals to secure jobs and advance into society.


The event featured corporate and recruitment booths with participation from over 30 companies including Hotel Lotte Signiel Busan, Busan Bank, and Air Busan. Additionally, promotional booths from the Busan Northern Employment Welfare Plus Center and Sasang District Office Sasang Enterprise Development Council, as well as experience booths such as personal color analysis and employment tarot readings, attracted students' attention.


In the lecture rooms of the Comprehensive Lecture Hall, special lectures essential for employment were held, including 'Our Attitude in the Era of Generative AI,' 'Talent Recruitment Trends by Company,' and 'Military Service Career Planning Special Lecture for High School Students.'


Students from Busan Aviation High School, who participated in the event alongside current students, graduates, and local youth, showed great interest in the military service career planning lecture, recruitment booths for the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps, and aviation-related companies, enjoying the fair together with university seniors.


Besides employment, the event venue offered various attractions such as a performance by the Busan-based busking team 'Jiwon Band' and an exhibition of woodworking products made by disabled youth, greatly enhancing the atmosphere of the job fair.


Jang Hee-jung, Director of the University Job Plus Center at Shilla University, said, “We hope this job fair has been a great help to young job seekers in preparing for employment and has served as an opportunity to create jobs and provide employment opportunities in the local community. Through various programs, we will continue to support increasing employment opportunities for youth and help many talented individuals find jobs in local companies, contributing to the development of our region.”
