Gangdong-gu Cheonho 2·3-dong Community Centers Relocate to Newly Built Office This Month

To a Complex Facility with Available Convenience Amenities

Gangdong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced on the 7th that Cheonho 2-dong Community Service Center and Cheonho 3-dong Community Service Center have completed their relocation to newly constructed buildings this month and will officially begin operations.


Cheonho 3-dong Community Service Center (555 Cheonho-dong), located on the 1st to 3rd floors of the Cheonho 3-dong Public Complex Building, will start operations on the 11th. The Cheonho 3-dong Public Complex Building was developed on the site where the previous community center and Gangdong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center were located. The project was jointly promoted by Gangdong-gu and Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) as a complex development project.

The Cheonho 3-dong Public Complex Building spans six floors above ground with a total floor area of 9,039.84㎡, housing public facilities such as the community center, autonomous hall, small library, daycare center, senior citizens’ lounge, and social welfare center to serve the residents.


On the 18th of this month, the Cheonho 2-dong Community Service Center (60 Olympic-ro 80-gil) will commence operations. The new building, constructed on a site donated as part of the Cheonho 1 District Urban Environment Improvement Project, is a five-story underground and four-story above-ground structure with a total floor area of 22,076㎡. The new facility includes the Cheonho 2-dong Community Service Center, autonomous hall, swimming pool, and public parking lot, providing various convenience facilities.
