Hanam-si Participates in ‘Invest KOREA Summit 2024’

Investment Attraction Activities Participating in Korea's Largest Investment Fair at Grand InterContinental Parnas Seoul on June 6-7

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) will participate in the ‘Invest KOREA Summit 2024,’ the largest domestic investment attraction expo, held over two days on the 6th and 7th at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Seoul, to engage in corporate investment attraction activities.

Now in its 19th edition, the ‘Invest KOREA Summit’ is a flagship national investment attraction IR event hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.


This event, featuring various industries such as semiconductors, bio, aerospace, and AI, is expected to provide a networking platform for investment attraction as global business partners including investors from around the world, senior government officials, local governments, and domestic companies participate.


Hanam City and Hanam Urban Corporation plan to promote the city’s unique investment advantages?top-tier transportation networks, living infrastructure, and investment incentives?under the Ai·Bio·Culture (A-B-C model). They will also actively market ongoing urban development projects such as Camp Colburn and K-Star World.


Customized investment consultations will be conducted for each urban development project, including the Gyosan New Town.


Additionally, the ‘Hanam City Investment Attraction Team,’ composed of experts from various fields, will also join the expo to promote corporate investment attraction.


Mayor Lee Hyun-jae emphasized, “We will gain domestic and international recognition for Hanam City’s excellent investment environment at this expo. Based on this, Hanam City will embark on successful investment attraction to leap forward as a high-quality self-sufficient city.”


Meanwhile, to create a ‘business-friendly city,’ Hanam City enacted the ‘Ordinance on Hanam City Corporate Investment Attraction and Support’ in August last year and established a Corporate Attraction Center, building an administrative and financial support foundation for corporate success.


Based on this, the city has achieved results by attracting mid-sized companies such as Seohui Construction, the R&D center of Kane·Rogers Nine, a golf equipment manufacturer and seller of PXG, the BC Card R&D center, and Bobath Hospital of Lotte Medical Foundation.
