According to Goyang Special City on the 6th, the sanitary product voucher support program targets female adolescents aged 9 to 24 who are basic livelihood security recipients, in the next lower income bracket, or from legally recognized single-parent families. It provides support of 13,000 KRW per month, up to a maximum of 156,000 KRW per year, allowing them to directly select and purchase preferred products.

The sanitary product voucher is provided based on the application date, and if there is no change in eligibility, once applied, support continues until the age of 24. The 2024 support amount can be used until December 31, 2024, and any unused funds will not be carried over to the next year and will be fully forfeited.

Applications can be made by visiting the administrative welfare center in charge of the applicant’s residence or online through the Bokjiro website or Bokjiro app.

A Goyang Special City official said, “The sanitary product voucher is an important support measure that helps reduce the economic burden while promoting the healthy growth of adolescents,” and added, “We hope all eligible female adolescents apply to receive the benefits.”
