Actress Lee Yoon-jin, who is in the midst of a divorce lawsuit with actor Lee Beom-soo, expressed her displeasure over the fake news surrounding her.
Lee Yoon-jin appeared on TV Chosun's "Now Alone" aired on the 5th and confessed, "After the divorce, I have been suffering due to baseless fake news such as rumors about my night life or dating other men." The fake news she mentioned included shocking claims like "night life at a Bali hotel" and "dating a foreign male friend."
Regarding the fake news that she was having "night life" in Bali, she said, "I was working hard at the hotel, but distorted rumors were spreading, which broke my heart," and added, "How can they belittle the job I worked so hard to get like this?" About the dating rumors with a foreign man, she explained, "He is a tourism director from another country who came to create hotel packages," and expressed her frustration, saying, "Photos taken for work caused misunderstandings, which was really embarrassing."
She recently consulted a lawyer about whether she could file a lawsuit against such fake news, fearing that it might affect the ongoing divorce proceedings. The lawyer asked about the current status of the divorce case, and Lee Yoon-jin replied, "The divorce is under litigation because the agreement and mediation failed, and custody is being handled first." She added, "I am taking care of our eldest daughter, but the younger son is being raised by his father."

She also said, "Since I live abroad, I have been conducting online visitation interviews," and showed tears while saying, "Through this, I met my son for the first time in a year." Lee Yoon-jin said, "Online visitation happens once a month, and the first time my son didn’t show up, so I thought he wouldn’t come the second time either, but he did," adding, "We talked for 30 minutes after meeting for the first time in a year." She continued, "He has grown a lot since I last saw him. He communicates often with his sister," and said, "When I came to Korea two weeks ago, I secretly left a gift in front of the house."
Meanwhile, Lee Yoon-jin and Lee Beom-soo married in 2010 and have a daughter and a son. They appeared together on KBS 2TV's "The Return of Superman," sharing their parenting life, but their marriage ended in divorce after 14 years in March of this year. The two attempted mediation but failed to reach an agreement, so the lawsuit continues. The daughter is being raised by Lee Yoon-jin, and the son is being raised by Lee Beom-soo.
