International Newspaper Cup, Clash of the Strongest Middle-Distance Horses 'Shingu Showdown'

The 17th International Newspaper Cup, a prestigious race known for producing champion horses (G3, 1400m, for 3 years old and above, with a prize of 500 million KRW), will be held on November 10 at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam.

Established as a special race in 2006 and elevated to a graded race in 2011, the International Newspaper Cup has produced many outstanding horses. This year, strong contenders specializing in middle distances are expected to fiercely compete once again.

This race is attracting even more attention as it is the final 1400m open race for the top tier of 3-year-olds and older horses.
