Pusan National University (President Choi Jae-won) announced on the 6th that Pusan New Port Corporation (CEO Kwon Ki-hyun) donated a scholarship fund of 5 million KRW at the president's office on the 5th floor of the university headquarters on the afternoon of the 5th.

Pusan New Port Corporation (PNC) is a subsidiary in the Asia-Pacific region of DP World, a foreign company headquartered in Dubai that operates and manages ports and handles maritime cargo. Pusan New Port Corporation, which operates the container terminal at Busan New Port, delivered 5 million KRW on this day to support scholarships for the related department, the Department of Environmental Engineering at Pusan National University.

Kwon Ki-hyun, CEO of Pusan New Port Corporation, introduced his interest and affection for Pusan National University, stating, "More than 20% of our company's office staff are graduates of Pusan National University."

CEO Kwon added, "This scholarship was provided with the intention of helping young talents in Busan grow into global leaders who will lead the future and supporting local talents to have a positive impact on society through better educational opportunities."
