The Korea Economic Association announced on the 6th that the third edition of Gotsenghanki, featuring Vice Chairman Sung, will be held on the 28th in downtown Seoul. Vice Chairman Sung will participate as a mentor and have lunch with 15 young participants from the 2030 generation who have pledged to practice talent donation for society rather than money, engaging in free conversation. The 15 participants, born between 1990 and 2006 (ages 18 to 34), were selected by the Korea Economic Association from those who submitted plans for talent donation for society.
Vice Chairman Sung stated that she agreed to participate because she sympathizes with the event's purpose of communication with youth and spreading positive influence through talent donation. At the event, she plans to share her experiences and vision as a next-generation female leader and communicate with participants on various topics.
Gotsenghanki is a Korean version of the Lunch with Buffett program promoted by the Korea Economic Association. Participants dine with mentor business leaders and connect and communicate under the keywords "passion" and "Gotseng." The first edition of Gotsenghanki, held in May last year, was attended by Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group; Park Jae-wook, CEO of Socar; and Noh Hong-chul, CEO of Noh Hong-chul Genius Co., Ltd. The second edition, held in December last year, featured Park Hyun-joo, Chairman of Mirae Asset Group, and Choi Soo-yeon, CEO of Naver. Over 50 young people who participated in the first and second editions gained dreams and courage through communication with mentors.
Those wishing to participate can submit a feasible talent donation plan they can carry out within the past month by the 21st through the Korea Economic Association website. Selection criteria include the feasibility, impact, and creativity of the talent donation plan.
