CJ CheilJedang is launching two types of ‘Bibigo Main Dishes’ that allow consumers to enjoy gourmet meals with just one product without any additional ingredient preparation.

The newly released ‘Bibigo Chuncheon-style Iron Plate Dakgalbi’ and ‘Bibigo Andong-style Soy Sauce Braised Chicken’ deliver differentiated taste quality at a professional restaurant level through Bibigo’s unique know-how and technology. Carefully selected chicken thigh meat is marinated and aged at low temperature using a patented marinade (a liquid used to tenderize or flavor meat or fish before cooking), eliminating the characteristic odor of chicken while preserving its juiciness and tender texture.

Additionally, various vegetables such as cabbage, onion, and green onion, along with essential toppings like rice cakes and glass noodles, are all included in one pack to reduce the hassle of ingredient preparation and cooking. Simply thaw and cook the product in a pan for 7 minutes to enjoy a perfect main dish at home.

Starting with these two new products, CJ CheilJedang plans to expand the Bibigo Main Dishes portfolio by sequentially launching various products such as ‘Bibigo Direct Fire Pork Bulgogi’ and ‘Seoul-style Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot.’ To celebrate the launch, the company is offering approximately 20% discount benefits on new product purchases at E-Mart until the 14th.

Ottogi is releasing two types of ‘Bbusyeo Bbusyeo Butter Grilled Squid Flavor’ and ‘Hot Bbusyeo Bbusyeo Spicy Flavor’ in collaboration with 'Squid Game' Season 2.

The newly introduced ‘Bbusyeo Bbusyeo 2 types’ are cost-effective snack products targeting OTT snack consumers, aiming to provide a light ‘Bbusyeo & Beer time’ experience where consumers can enjoy Bbusyeo Bbusyeo snacks with beer.

The Butter Grilled Squid flavor offers the sweet and savory umami taste characteristic of the popular butter grilled squid menu at movie theaters. The Hot Spicy flavor delivers a fiery and intense spiciness reminiscent of K-ramen, catering to consumers who seek spicy snacks. Both flavors include domestically produced rice powder, making them crispier and healthier to enjoy.

The packaging of the two new products features Ottogi’s official character Yellows combined with ‘Squid Game’ designs, and includes a total of 30 types of detachable ‘Bbusyeo Bbusyeo X Squid Game seal stickers’ randomly enclosed. The new products are available at Ottogi’s official online store ‘Ottogi Mall,’ large supermarkets, GS25 convenience stores, and other online and offline retailers.

CU launches 'Geummiok Tteokbokki Cup' from Seongsu-dong famous restaurant

CU is exclusively launching two types of ‘Geummiok Tteokbokki Cup’ that allow easy enjoyment of tteokbokki from the famous Seongsu-dong restaurant ‘Geummiok’ simply by microwaving.

Geummiok Tteokbokki, which opened in Seongsu-dong in 2020, gained popularity as a healthy tteokbokki made only with domestic ingredients and was selected in the Blue Ribbon Survey within four months of opening. After entering a famous food e-commerce platform, it caused a sold-out frenzy by selling one unit per second during promotions.

Until now, the tteokbokki was only sold as a frozen meal kit, but this time it is introduced as a refrigerated cup tteokbokki that can be quickly prepared by just microwaving.

The two types, Geummiok Rice Cake Tteokbokki Cup and Soup Tteokbokki Cup (each priced at 3,700 KRW), apply Geummiok’s secret seasoning recipe that uses broth made from domestic radish and onion, pineapple juice, and other ingredients to create a clean sweetness with rich umami. Both products use chewy rice cakes, and the soup tteokbokki cup contains enough sauce to be enjoyed alongside other menu items like triangular gimbap and fried snacks.

Kolon Sports launches winter shoe collection

Kolon Sports, an outdoor brand under Kolon Industries FnC division, is introducing a winter shoe collection suitable for everyday life and outdoor activities during the winter season.

For everyday winter wear, they launched the boot ‘Downy 2.’ Downy 2 features a wet grip outsole developed with Kolon Sports’ proprietary technology, providing excellent traction on wet surfaces. It uses Thinsulate insulation that traps air efficiently with fine fiber structure to maintain warmth, boasting outstanding thermal retention. The women’s winter boot ‘Katla’ features a design with a foldable shaft length, allowing for various styling options.

Black Yak Kids launches ‘Lala Series 2.0’

Black Yak Kids has launched the new ‘Lala Series 2.0.’ The Lala Series is an abbreviation of ‘Light is Right,’ meaning ‘lightness is the answer,’ representing Black Yak Kids products.

The new ‘Lala Series 2.0’ includes a premium goose down jacket, vests, cold-weather shoes, padded scarves, and various styles, including toddler items that can be worn as similar looks.

The flagship product, ‘BK Lala 2M Down Jacket,’ is a mid-layer down jacket that returns warmer with a richer amount of down compared to last season’s lightweight jacket version. Athleisure brand Andar has launched three types of high-performance new material ‘Primaloft’ jackets, which are also used in U.S. special forces extreme cold weather training uniforms.

The new ‘Andar Primaloft Matte Warm Padding Jacket’ features a work jacket style with a corduroy collar and cuffs. The shirt-style ‘Andar Primaloft City Warm Padding Jacket’ adds a shirt collar and pockets, enhancing its stylish appeal. It has naturally dropped shoulder seams that create a neat and comfortable fit with a sophisticated atmosphere. The ‘Primaloft Winter Wind Jacket’ has a clean design reminiscent of a trench coat and a length that sufficiently covers the thighs and hips, making it suitable for commuting as well as wearing over leggings during exercise.

The Primaloft material applied to the new products is a high-performance new material suitable for the intense cold weather training of special forces.
