Album Chart: Seventeen at 41, aespa and ITZY Debut with New Releases
Ros?'s 'Apartment' (APT.) at 13... Remains in Top Ranks in 2nd Week
Group BTS member Jimin has maintained long-term success by entering two main US Billboard charts for 15 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 5th (local time) for the week of November 9, Jimin's solo second album 'MUSE' title track 'Who' ranked 55th on the main singles chart 'Hot 100.' 'MUSE' placed 139th on the main album chart 'Billboard 200,' dropping eleven spots from the previous week.
'MUSE' and 'Who' first entered these charts at the end of July and have remained fixtures on the charts for 15 weeks.
BTS's eldest member Jin's first solo album 'Happy' pre-release track 'I'll Be There' entered this week's 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' at number 8. The 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' ranks 25 songs that narrowly missed entering Billboard's main singles chart 'Hot 100.'
Additionally, 'I'll Be There' ranked at the top in 'World Digital Song Sales' (1st) and 'Digital Song Sales' (3rd). It also placed 10th and 25th on the 'Global (Excl. US)' and 'Global 200' charts, respectively.
BLACKPINK's Ros?, who collaborated with pop star Bruno Mars on 'APT.,' ranked 13th on this week's 'Hot 100.' Ros?, who debuted at 8th place on the chart last week, setting a new record for K-pop female solo artists, has secured a spot in the top 20 for two consecutive weeks, maintaining her high ranking and proving her continued popularity.
'APT.' held the number 1 position for two consecutive weeks on both the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Global 200 (Excl. US)' charts. Since the 'Global 200' chart began ranking in September 2020, 'APT.' is the first song to be streamed over 200 million times for two consecutive weeks.
On the 'Billboard 200,' group SEVENTEEN's mini 12th album 'SPILL THE FEELS' ranked 41st this week, entering the top 50 for two consecutive weeks.
Group aespa's mini 5th album 'Whiplash' debuted at number 50 on this week's 'Billboard 200.' aespa became the first 4th generation girl group to enter the top 50 of the 'Billboard 200' with six consecutive albums.
Group ITZY's mini 9th album 'Gold' entered the same chart at number 60 for the first time. ITZY has entered the top 70 of this chart with six consecutive releases.
This week, the number one spot on the 'Hot 100' was reclaimed by American country singer-songwriter Shaboozey with 'A Bar Song (Tipsy).' Hip-hop star Tyler, The Creator's new release 'CHROMAKOPIA' ranked number 1 on the 'Billboard 200.'
