AK Members Festival to be Held from the 7th
AK Plaza Suwon Branch announced on the 6th that its sales increased despite the aggressive competition from Shinsegae Starfield and Lotte Time Villas, which have opened and undergone large-scale renovations this year.
According to AK Plaza, the cumulative sales of the Suwon branch in the third quarter reached 332.1 billion KRW, marking a 1.4% growth compared to the same period last year. The cumulative number of purchasing members grew by 5.6% year-on-year, and it is expected to surpass 300,000 annually.
The reason behind AK Plaza Suwon Branch's strong performance is attributed to store renovations that highlight the branch's unique characteristics and differentiated events. Over the past two years, the Suwon branch revamped 330 MDs, introducing popular food and beverage establishments such as the largest Dolby Sound Megabox in the Suwon area and Old Ferry Donuts.
Furthermore, by opening Dotori Forest, it strengthened the largest kidult zoning in southern Gyeonggi alongside Gundam Base and Pop Mart. AK Plaza Suwon Branch also offers exclusive events such as Ice Cream Home Run Kids Water Park, the nationwide Beyblade competition, and the Catch Tinyping experience for family customers.
Riding on this interest, AK Plaza will hold the ‘AK Members Festival’ from the 7th to the 21st, offering various discounts and maximum promotional benefits to AK Members.
With an early cold wave forecasted and many customers expected to prepare for outerwear purchases, exclusive outerwear benefits will be offered focusing on popular brands such as Nike, Adidas, and New Balance. New products from major fashion groups like Handsome and Samsung C&T, as well as winter essentials such as bedding, kitchenware, and small home appliances, will be sold at discounts of up to 70%.
Through the AK Plaza application (app), customers can also receive coupon benefits that allow double participation in up to 7% additional discounts and 7% value gift events when purchasing sports, outdoor, and infant/children’s products.
An AK Plaza official stated, “We focused on providing more diverse events and maximum benefits than ever to customers struggling with the recession and high prices,” adding, “Going forward, the Suwon branch will create differentiated content for regional coexistence, such as partnership promotions with the Gyeonggi Arts Center and collaborative projects with Gyeonggi social enterprises.”
