Dobong-gu Mayor Oh Eon-seok Requests National Assembly Cooperation for Budget Support... Visits Baegun Market and Others to Communicate with Local Residents After Meeting
On November 1st, Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, met with National Assembly members Kim Jae-seop and Park Soo-min at a traditional market located in Dobong-gu.
This meeting was arranged to discuss current issues and regional development in Dobong-gu. It is known that the meeting was facilitated by Mayor Oh Eon-seok and Kim Jae-seop, the local district assembly member, who invited Park Soo-min.
At the meeting, Mayor Oh said, “Dobong-gu is one of the slowest developing districts among Seoul’s autonomous districts due to various regulations and poor financial conditions. To resolve the diverse problems Dobong-gu faces and promote development, budget support and deregulation are urgently needed. We ask for the National Assembly’s close cooperation.”
Afterwards, they visited Baegun Market and Changdong Alley Market in succession to communicate with local residents and listen to the difficulties faced by merchants.
