At this event, Seocho-gu will operate a promotional booth along with a keynote speech under the theme of "Mature Smart City Seocho." The district will present excellent smart policy cases it is promoting, such as "Good Seocho Coin," "Digital Civil Service Office," and "Seoripul Forest Imagination School," providing visitors with opportunities to experience them firsthand.
In particular, at the Smart City Seoul Policy Forum held at the Seoul Pavilion on the 7th (local time), the keynote speech will announce the role of local governments in creating an environment where all citizens can enjoy the benefits of digital technology without discrimination.
The district’s smart inclusion projects are introduced in three areas: "space," "society," and "participation." In the space inclusion area, the "Digital Civil Service Office," the nation’s first electronic civil service form system using QR codes, and the "Seoripul Forest Imagination School," a forest experience activity for people with developmental disabilities using digital technologies such as AR, will be explained. In the social and participation inclusion areas, projects improving digital accessibility for the elderly and disabled, such as "Sumtong Space," "Smart Senior Online Platform," and "Digital Rehabilitation Room," will be introduced. In the participation inclusion area, "Good Seocho Coin" will be presented.
Five local companies with smart technologies will also participate in this expo. ▲Ground One (architectural design and environmental analysis support service using design blueprints) ▲Aim Future (AI accelerator hardware IP and software) ▲4D iVision (AI-based 3D sensors for fully unmanned factories) ▲Triplet (AI video analysis-based store analysis system) ▲Tilda (data-based AI services for automated operation and control of manufacturing facilities) are companies with global-level technology in the AI field, expected to achieve outcomes such as signing agreements with overseas institutions and companies through this expo.
Meanwhile, Seocho-gu is the only autonomous district in Seoul to hold both domestic and international smart city certifications by promoting smart city projects. It has obtained the highest grade "Level 4" international smart city standard certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI), the highest among local governments nationwide, and has also received domestic smart city certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Mayor Jeon Seong-su said, "By participating in this expo, we will promote Seocho-gu’s smart city policies to the world and benchmark excellent policies from other cities," adding, "We will continue to pursue digital inclusion policies to create a smart innovative city where all residents can benefit."
