Opening of the Housing Redevelopment Maintenance Academy in Jungnang-gu

Jungnang-gu Hosts 2024 Housing Development Academy Basic Course on Redevelopment Projects

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) held the '2024 Housing Development Academy Basic Course on Maintenance Projects' for residents on the 4th at the Planning Situation Room on the 4th floor of Jungnang-gu Office.

On this day, more than 80 Jungnang-gu residents participated, showing great interest.

The 'Housing Development Academy Basic Course on Maintenance Projects' is a program that covers basic concepts and content related to redevelopment and small-scale housing maintenance projects. It was newly established for residents who were unable to attend the previously held '2nd Housing Development Academy.'

The main educational contents include ▲ Basic concepts of urban maintenance projects ▲ Small-scale housing maintenance projects ▲ Trust-type maintenance projects ▲ Basic procedures and key contents ▲ Q&A, etc.

The district plans to hold the Housing Development Academy twice a year, once in the first half and once in the second half of 2025, to overcome the temporal and spatial limitations of the current academy and to inform more residents about maintenance projects.

Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, "Accurate and prompt information and residents' correct understanding of the overall project are most important for successful project implementation," adding, "Next year, we will provide various educational environments to offer a communication channel where residents' questions about housing development projects can be addressed."

The 2nd Housing Development Academy, held from April to October this year, concluded with active enthusiasm as about 50 project representatives and association executives participated.

It was evaluated that the participants had a meaningful time with active discussions and exchanges of opinions on housing projects.
